Our Story

Après Feels (or After Feels) was built on the premise that feeling good after a long day, through natural recovery, should be accessible and affordable. 

A play on the ski tradition of Après Ski, where friends and family come together to recap the day on the slopes, relax, and recover over good conversation and a few drinks, Après Feels looks to capture that feeling of bliss when body and mind align to reflect and relax.

Founder Sam Zerfoss' favorite thing to do is ski. Being outside, while being physically active with friends while a beverage awaits you checks all the boxes of a life well lived. Over many years and many ski trips however, it became harder and harder to make it to day three and still ski a full day that he could be proud of.

Sam experimented with different topicals and muscle anti-inflammatories, but found them all prohibitively expensive. After seeing most recovery balms on the market sell for anywhere from $50-$80, Sam set out to bring a quality product to market for the same price as a pitcher of beer. 

By combining his love for outdoor activities with his passion for natural healing and homeopath, Sam launched Après Feels in 2023 to help him and his fellow skiers enjoy the outdoors for longer by helping improve muscle recovery at an affordable cost.
